A one-day workshop on “Harnessing Nature for Innovation: Development of Commercially Viable Products from Natural Sources”, organized by the CBSL, in collaboration with the University Business Linkage Cell (UBL) of the University of Ruhuna and Food and Nature (Pvt) Ltd, Sri Lanka (FADNA), was successfully conducted on 11th March 2026, at the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, University of Ruhuna with around 80 participants including undergraduate and post graduate students, academics and industrial participants. This workshop aimed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and practical approaches necessary to develop innovative, safe, and market-ready nature-based products from initial conceptualization through market introduction. Members from CBSL, UBL, and FADNA served as resource persons.
